WinterStorm Rock Weekender
For the first time in its ten-year history, WinterStorm will bring five consecutive days of live music to Troon—placing its established three-day classic rock festival between three very different standalone concerts created to appeal to audiences across Ayrshire and beyond.
The music begins on Wednesday 25 November when the Bay City Rollers bring the sound of Rollermania to Troon Concert Hall for Before the ’Storm.
WinterStorm’s tenth-anniversary rock weekend—StormForce X—then takes over the venue from Thursday 26 until Saturday 28 November, before two separate After the ’Storm concerts complete the programme on Sunday 29 November.
Colonel Mustard & The Dijon Five will open Sunday with a colourful, family-friendly afternoon hoolie, while Scotland’s acclaimed Pink Floyd tribute MacFloyd will bring the five days to a suitably spectacular conclusion with a fully seated evening performance.
Each of the Wednesday and Sunday concerts is a completely standalone event, with individual tickets available, but you will experience the full sound and light show that goes with the rock weekend. You do not need to be attending the main WinterStorm festival to come along.

The five-day programme opens with one of Scotland’s most recognisable names as the Bay City Rollers arrive at Troon Concert Hall.
Original member Stuart “Woody” Wood is still flying the tartan flag, joined by an energetic line-up bringing a new live lease of life to the songs that made the Rollers a worldwide phenomenon.
Shang-A-Lang, Bye Bye Baby, Saturday Night, Summerlove Sensation and many more helped turn five young Scots into international superstars as Rollermania swept across the globe.
Now Ayrshire audiences can dig out the tartan, sing along and Keep on Rollin’ at a concert designed to start WinterStorm week with a proper celebration.

At the centre of the five days is WinterStorm itself—Ayrshire’s annual celebration of classic rock, blues, melodic rock, progressive music, metal and much more.
The festival marks its tenth anniversary in 2026 with three packed days across two stages at Troon Concert Hall. The StormForce X line-up features established international names, returning WinterStorm favourites and emerging artists from Scotland and across the UK.
FM, Tyketto, Toseland, Tygers of Pan Tang, Focus, Blaze Bayley, Mostly Autumn, John Corabi, The Commoners, Bad Touch, Chantel McGregor, Martin Turner’s Wishbone Ash and Graham Oliver’s Army are among the acts heading to the Ayrshire coast.
Although WinterStorm attracts visitors from throughout the UK and overseas, it has always been rooted firmly in Troon. Extending the programme to five days allows the festival to offer something much broader for local audiences, without changing the character of the three-day rock weekend at its heart.
One-, two- and three-day festival tickets remain available, along with ticket and accommodation packages for those wishing to make a weekend of it.

After three full days of rock, Sunday begins with an explosion of yellow as Colonel Mustard & The Dijon Five return to Troon Concert Hall.
Following the joyous response to their previous visit, the Colonel and the Dijon crew are back for another family-friendly afternoon hoolie, joined by DJ5 and additional entertainment.
Expect dancing, laughter, audience participation, inflatable accessories and gloriously infectious festival music from one of Scotland’s most colourful live bands. This is a show for committed Dijon fans, curious newcomers, families and anyone who believes Sunday afternoons should contain considerably more yellow.
The event runs from midday until approximately 3.30pm, leaving plenty of time to enjoy Troon before MacFloyd take over the Concert Hall that evening.

Family-friendly event
Scotland’s outstanding Pink Floyd tribute MacFloyd return to Troon for the final performance of WinterStorm’s tenth-anniversary programme.
Their previous appearance at WinterStorm sold out, and tickets for this year’s fully seated concert are already selling quickly.
MacFloyd have earned an exceptional reputation for recreating the sound, atmosphere and visual experience of Pink Floyd. Their concerts combine superb musicianship with immersive lighting and projections, taking audiences through landmark albums including The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Wall and The Division Bell.
The band return to Troon following a sold-out appearance alongside Moving Pictures at Glasgow’s legendary Barrowland Ballroom and another triumphant late-night performance at the Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival.
It will be an atmospheric and memorable way to bring five days of music by the Ayrshire coast to a close.

The Before and After the ’Storm programme has been created to open WinterStorm week to a much wider local audience.
Festival director Ian McCaig said:
“For ten years, WinterStorm has brought visitors from across the UK and overseas to Troon, but the festival has always belonged to Ayrshire too. For our tenth anniversary, we wanted to build something around the main rock weekend that offered genuinely different nights out for local audiences.
“The Bay City Rollers, Colonel Mustard & The Dijon Five and MacFloyd could hardly be more different, but each promises a brilliant live experience in its own right. You don’t need a WinterStorm weekend ticket and you don’t need to be a committed rock fan. These are three standalone concerts for anyone who wants to enjoy great live music at Troon Concert Hall.
“It means that, for the first time, we’ll have five consecutive days of live music by the sea—and we hope people across Ayrshire will come along and be part of it.”
Troon Concert Hall is located in the centre of town, close to the seafront and within easy walking distance of local bars, restaurants, cafés and accommodation.
Room-inclusive packages are available for anyone who would like to stay over, while each standalone concert can also be booked separately without accommodation or admission to the main WinterStorm festival.
Whether it is tartan and seventies pop on Wednesday, three days of classic rock, a yellow Sunday-afternoon party or the music of Pink Floyd performed in a fully seated concert, there is now more than one way to be part of WinterStorm’s tenth anniversary.
